I'm a small business owner and solo developer who writes software like Budgety to support my family. I'm not backed by venture capital or a big tech company—just a dad trying to make ends meet and build something meaningful.
My wife has Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic illness that requires ongoing care and support. Our 8-year-old son is autistic and non-verbal, which means he needs specialized attention, therapy, and resources that aren't always covered by insurance.
Every day brings its own challenges, but also its own joys. Between doctor appointments, therapy sessions, and managing our household, I write code. I build apps like Budgety because this is how I provide for my family—how I pay for medical bills, therapy, and all the little things that add up.
